Reflection & Release

As our energy shifts, transitioning into the slower, shorter days.

We are invited to drop into the stillness with intention.

Taking time to pause and reflect on what seeds we planted this year, what bloomed and what needs to be composted and birthed anew in spring.

We will be taking time be inspired by words together and connect with our softening self and listen.

Together we will quietly align with the changing season: shifting from the fast pace doing to the deep work of integration.

Poetry as a Tool for Wellness assists the blossoming of individual voice and empowerment through reading and sharing quotes and poetry as well as poem-making. It is an effective tool along the journey of self-awareness and wholeness.

“With an emphasis on creating both a safe and creative circle, participants are guided by experienced Peer Facilitators to approach poetry for self-understanding through reading, reflecting, and writing poetry. As always, sharing within the poetry circle is by invitation and is not necessary or expected.” —The Institute for Poetic Medicine

I found it while traveling with family in Sicily; exploring roots, breathing in the beauty of the island. It has been traveling with me since and I feel it represents exactly what I am feeling as this season and life transitions.

Testimonals

‘Exploring poetry with Lacey was like a portal to what simmers in my sub-conscience, and it grounded me in the present in a way I haven’t felt for a while’.

— Javila

“I had such a wonderful experience with Lacey in her, “Poetry as a Tool for Wellness” session. She created such a welcoming, calming space from the moment we started. Beginning with a gentle meditation and breath work helped me settle in, slow down, and be fully present before we transitioned into the poetry.

Her voice, energy, and presence are incredibly soothing, and she guided the experience with so much grace and patience. Even with my own distractions, I never felt rushed or self-conscious. Lacey held the space beautifully and made everyone feel comfortable sharing and reflecting.

I left feeling lighter, more grounded, and generally inspired. It was a truly nourishing experience, and I can’t wait to see what she creates next. I would highly recommend her sessions to anyone looking to reconnect with themselves in a meaningful and restorative way.”
